We have identified seven key initiatives, prioritizing eco-friendly workplace development, sustainable product innovation,

a healthy corporate culture, transparent governance, and company-wide ESG integration through materiality assessment.

With sincerity and responsibility, we are dedicated to making ESG an essential part of our business.

Environment

SOLUM is securing ISO 14001 and other key environmental certifications at all overseas production sites while rolling out site-specific carbon-reduction and resource-efficiency projects to meet stricter regulations and customer expectations.

Social

SOLUM is committed to creating a workplace where diversity, equity, and inclusion are respected and upheld, grounded in a deep respect for human dignity. We support international human rights standards and place the utmost importance on protecting and respecting the rights of everyone we work with.

Governance

SOLUM is striving to establish a rational management decision-making system to ensure managerial transparency, soundness, and safety of the company, while aiming to enhance corporate value and shareholder value.

Environment

Board-level Climate Governance & Risk

ESG Committee sets direction; ESG Management Team and a cross-functional working council execute. NGFS-based climate scenario analysis conducted for four production hubs covering acute and chronic risks; long-term monitoring in place.

Carbon & Energy Management

Scope 1 & 2 GHG emissions from HQ and overseas plants are verified annually; Scope 3 expansion planned.

  • Mexico: on-site solar generated 329,574 kWh, avoiding ~98.9 tCO₂e.
  • China: purchased 5,200 MWh via Green Electricity Certificates, reaching 49% renewable electricity

Product Life-cycle Footprint

Eight ESL models carry ISO 14067 product carbon-footprint certification: LCAs follow ISO 14040/14044. An additional 13 models are now certified, extending footprint disclosure (21 models in total).

Environmental management & compliance

Overseas plants run ISO 14001 systems with emissions and wastewater monitored to legal standards. GPMS (Green Product Management System) oversees hazardous substances and supplier compliance.

SOLUM fosters a safe, respectful workplace and a positive culture. We apply UN and ILO human rights standards across our operations, guided by 14 core principles for human rights management. These principles help prevent violations and ensure ongoing protection for all stakeholders.

We believe diversity, equity, and inclusion drive innovation at SOLUM. Our DEI policy ensures a workplace free from discrimination of any kind, promoting a culture where all employees—regardless of background—can thrive. Safety and Health Training

SOLUM regularly implements SHEE training programs that include emergency response, chemical safety, and general safety education. These initiatives are designed to improve awareness and ensure a safe, healthy workplace for all employees.

Partnership Growth Programs

SOLUM hosts regular technical exchange sessions with partners to explore new technologies and business opportunities. Through our partnership council, we share our goals and align efforts for mutual growth.

Board-Level ESG Oversight

Board-Level ESG Oversight • ESG Committee (2 independent directors + 1 executive) sets ESG strategy, reviews progress quarterly, and escalates climate- and risk-related items to the Board.

Supplier Code of Conduct

Updated in 2024 to align with ILO, OECD and RBA standards, our Code sets clear rules on labour & human rights, health & safety, environment, ethics and management systems. All suppliers must sign and comply.

Fair trade & supplier partnership

In 2024, we held compliance training for 14 partner companies and will continue with two sessions annually. Earned a ‘Top’ grade in Fair-Trade Agreement compliance, designated an exemplary subcontractor, and received Samsung’s 2025 Excellence Partner – ESG Special Award.

Ethics and Compliance Management

We updated our Code of Ethics to strengthen anti-bribery measures, rolled out company-wide ethics training, and held an Ethics Management Proclamation. A Compliance Officer was appointed, control standards set, and ISO 37001 certification is being pursuing to enhance our program.

Business-Continuity Assurance

SOLUM holds ISO 22301 certification, ensuring our supply chain can withstand unexpected disruptions and continue to serve customers without interruption.

ESG at the Heart of SOLUM

At SOLUM, ESG is no longer a side project—it is our strategy, our technology roadmap, and the way we work. We design ultra-low-power ESL, Power and Display solutions that cut customers’ carbon footprints, while moving our own operations toward science-based net-zero targets with renewables.

A board-level ESG committee, third-party-verified data and an expanding supplier program ensure transparency and ethics across the value-chain. By linking shareholder returns, climate action and innovation, we are creating solutions for a sustainable tomorrow—together with our global customers and investors.
