SOLUM, a global provider of electronic components and retail technology solutions, has released its latest sustainability roadmap and key ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) achievements, reinforcing its commitment to responsible and sustainable business practices.

The company announced the publication of its third ESG Report, outlining its progress in carbon emissions management, sustainable supply chain development, and ESG governance enhancement, while presenting its strategic direction for long-term sustainable growth.

This year's report highlights SOLUM's approach to ESG as a core business driver rather than simply a matter of corporate responsibility or compliance. Recognizing the growing importance of environmental and ESG requirements across global supply chains, the company has further strengthened its management systems to meet evolving customer expectations and future business needs.

SOLUM continues to advance its capabilities in managing Product Carbon Footprints (PCF) and responding to EcoVadis sustainability assessments. As global customers increasingly incorporate carbon and ESG performance across products and supply chains into their sourcing decisions, the company is focused on improving data management and enhancing related response processes.

The company has also expanded its environmental management efforts across its entire value chain. The report includes SOLUM's first measurement of Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions, covering indirect emissions generated through supplier operations, logistics, product usage, and end-of-life disposal. This milestone provides a foundation for managing environmental impacts not only within the company's operations but across the broader business ecosystem.

SOLUM continues to strengthen supply chain sustainability through collaborative initiatives with its suppliers. The company operates a Supplier Code of Conduct and Sustainable Procurement Policy while conducting ESG assessments and on-site audits to identify and manage key supply chain risks. Through these efforts, SOLUM aims to enhance both supplier ESG performance and long-term supply chain resilience.

ESG governance is led by the ESG Committee under the Board of Directors. The committee oversees ESG policies and key initiatives while aligning sustainability strategies with business operations, customer requirements, and long-term growth objectives to strengthen execution and accountability.

A SOLUM representative stated:
"This report reflects our view of ESG as a key element of business competitiveness and future growth, rather than simply a response to evaluation requirements. We will continue to strengthen our carbon management capabilities, supply chain ESG practices, and governance framework to meet global customer expectations and advance our sustainability management efforts."
